Job Title: Insurance Customer Service Representative

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and assisting them with their insurance needs. The Insurance Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming calls and emails from clients and providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries regarding insurance policies, claims, and billing.
• Reviewing client policies and making recommendations to ensure they have the appropriate coverage for their needs.
• Processing policy changes, cancellations, and renewals in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assisting clients with filing insurance claims and following up with the insurance carrier to ensure a timely resolution.
• Updating and maintaining client information in our customer database.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance products to clients.
• Resolving client complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Providing support to the sales team by generating leads and setting appointments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role; insurance industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with customer databases.
• Must be able to obtain an insurance license within the first 90 days of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
